position for a Web Server Administrator
PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island -- September 15,, 2004 -- Architosh.com,
is looking for an experienced Web server administrator. Required
experience and orientation must be centered on serving the needs
and business interests of Architosh.com. We are looking for someone
to fulfill a short or long-term contract position and enable us
to move forward with future Web publishing strategic objectives.
Required skills and experience include:
- Mac,
Mac OS X, Unix or Linux server experience
- Apache
Web Server administration experience on Linux, Unix (or Mac OS
X preferred)
- mySQL
database setup and administration
- PHP
scripting/programming with mySQL database integration experience
- FTP
server setup and client application skills
- Collocation
and remote administration skills and experience
- The
ability to instruct Architosh staff on basic web server administration
- Dreamweaver
or related HTML experience a plus.
This is an ideal position for a college-aged or recent graduate
of a computer science or information technology degree with requisite
skills. Candidate must be sensitive to our business objectives,
understanding of our core assets as a site (web publication), and
a good problem solver who we can depend upon in need. Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
