Kirksey and Partners Architects Standardizes on ArchiCAD
According to a press release by Graphisoft, Kirksey and Partners Architects, one of the most successful architecture and interior firms in the southern United States, announced that it had moved from CADVANCE and AutoCAD to ArchiCAD as their official CAD standard. The 84-person firm--which is growing at 30-50 percent annually--will rely on ArchiCAD's teamwork capabilities to support its own highly-successful team approach to specific projects. Kirksey's David Larrew, head of their Visualization Team, said that AutoCAD simply wasn't capable of taking them in the direction they wanted to go. Larrew was looking for a program that could handle every phase of design, including collaboration features and documentation. After an exhaustive evaluation, Larrew found that ArchiCAD was the program that could do all that. For more information on ArchiCAD click here.
