Multimedia Training for MiniCAD VectorWorks
MacAcademy has come out with a series of multimedia training CD-ROM's for VectorWorks 8. The series includes five volumes of visual learning to help speed you on your way in mastering the program. Those new to VectorWorks and CAD in general will have a much easier time learning the program through this type of learning compared to the VectorWorks manuals. CAD programs typically ship will large, think reference manuals which confuse CAD newbies with multiple volumes and copious text-based explanations. CD-ROM training offers a better approach because you can visually review the exact steps -- on screen -- to help you learn. You can order separate volumes through discount bookseller Amazon.com or order directly from the Diehl Graphisoft web site.
In addition to this multi-volume CD-ROM guide, there is another guide book called The Works Manual, Version 8: An Introduction & Beyond to VectorWorks, by Janis Kent.
