New Software from Microspot: Holiday Specials!
Microspot USA, has a number of updates and software offers on their large range of Macintosh and Windows CAD and plotter software and hardware. Some of the Christmas specials include the following:
Microspot Interiors is based on QuickDraw 3D technology and is ideal for creating and/or enhancing interior design, modeling, virtual reality and presentations. The latest version is compatible with the new Mac OS 9 and G3/G4 computers, featuring highly accelerated 3D rendering. Microspot Interiors also features Drag & Drop and transparent views through walls for faster rendering, and multiple rendered viewing windows. Microspot Media Assistant is an inexpensive media management software system. With this program you can catalog media of various types such as graphic files, CAD files and Web media. File support includes Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXpress, TIFF, PICT, JPEG, MacDraft, and QuickTime, as well as application documents in HTML form, text documents, Word (TM) files and many more. Microspot Renderer is a QuickDraw 3D plug-in renderer that provides transparency, shadows, pixel level lighting calculations, and anti-aliasing to the QuickDraw 3D Interactive Renderer included in Macintosh and Windows CAD and rendering applications. You can download a trail version, drop it into your system folder and test it out. The plug-in works great with programs like VectorWorks, or Microspots' own 3D World rendering application. Updates to MacDraft 4.4 MacDraft is now at version 4.4. New features include Mac OS 9 compatibility, PCDraft exchange file format, DWG read/write file exchange library, export command accesses QuickTime Graphic Exporters to save as JPEG, BMP, etc,. Also new, added Shift-D for duplicates with no offset, Reopen Application Apple Event implemented so MacDraft will open a new document if no document is open on double-clicking the application in the Finder. MacDraft will also read all future versions of MacDraft files but not display unknown objects. They will be saved back when written back to a file. This version also eliminates a few bugs.
