Investors file "fraud" suit against Autodesk

Autodesk continues to suffer more bad press. If it isn't its poor sales of Autocad 2000 or its poor financial performance and stock price, then its something else. TenLinks broke a news story on Autodesk and a class action law suit brought about on the company .

"The lawsuit alleges that Autodesk, certain executives of the Company, and its investment banker violated the securities laws and regulations of the United States", says the article. At the heart of the matter is whether or not Autodesk artificially inflated the stock price by making positive but false statements about strong demand for its products and its diversification plans.
