Architosh adds 'Sci/Tech: Mac OS X Forum'

As part of our efforts to assist John Martellaro at Apple Computer and the thousands of SCI/tech Mac users out there we have created a new forum dedicated just to that purpose, where the same SCI/tech users who wrote in to assist Apple can now gather to continue the efforts.

In the new SCI/Tech: Mac OS X Forum at Architosh—a sub area within our larger technical CAD/3D/AEC Forum—users can create posts for a large range of issues:

(1) gather consensus on the most important apps to port to OS X,

(2) discuss open-source and free Unix code and apps for SCI/tech which can be taken to OS X with little or moderate effort,

(3) discuss new porting tools for the SCI/tech community and Unix development environments,

(4) discuss OpenGL, Darwin, QuickTime, Cocoa, Java and other important Apple and non-Apple technologies related to Unix and Mac OS X., and

(5) discuss the role of Linux to OS X.

The SCI/Tech: Mac OS X Forum at Architosh is free and open to anyone wishing to discuss this community's issues. Moderation opportunities exist as well, just let us know what you need. There are more notes about the forum at the forum. It's brand new and waiting. (please watch the wet-paint!) ;-)

Related: Architosh Adds Dedicated CAD Platform Sub-Forums

As stated Architosh is in the process of overhauling the Architosh Forums. So far we have added separate sub-forums for each CAD platform on the Macintosh and a forum for Form-Z.

The Architosh Forums are the only spot on the Internet dedicated exclusively to Macintosh CAD/3D/AEC and technical visualization.
