Firm Highlight: MJNealArchitect uses Macs, Flash-driven Web site

Architosh reader, William Reese Schroeder, AIA, pointed us to his friend's firm Web site at www.mjneal.com. And what a site it is!

As Reese had explained to me, MJNeal Architect, is an Austin, Texas-based, architecture practice doing some cutting edge design work across a number of different building types. Some of the work appears quite theoretical and unbuilt, with some interesting models and computer graphics.

The web site itself is really nice (though not complete at this moment) with a very cool interactive Projects gallery. There is extensive use of dynamic media utilizing Flash. According to Reese, who is a good friend of the firm, MJNeal Architect is an exclusively Mac firm, utilizing cutting edge equipment and software. The firm employs VectorWorks and FormZ (there are a number of computer model images that have that distinctive FormZ feel). Nice stuff! One of the better sites we have seen.

We will hopefully be inquiring more about MJNeal Architect in the near future.
