Apple Expo: REALVIZ demos ImageModeler 3.5 for Mac OS X

Architosh Press Report: Paris Event Provides Setting for Presentation of REALVIZ Release of ImageModeler on the Macintosh Platform

Sophia Antipolis, France � September 9, 2002 � REALVIZ�, a leader in image processing software development, has chosen Apple Expo 2002 in Paris, as the setting for the next phase of their advance into the Macintosh� arena. During the show, the company will be showcasing the forthcoming REALVIZ� ImageModeler� 3.5, as well as the REALVIZ Interactive Studio production suite. Using photographs as a revolutionary approach to 3D content creation, REALVIZ ImageModeler 3.5 offers an innovative and intuitive approach to the often time-consuming and complex task of creating 3D models. A technology demonstration of REALVIZ ImageModeler 3.5 will take place at booth #E23 during Apple Expo, at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, September 10 �14, 2002.

With the release of REALVIZ ImageModeler 3.5 for Mac OS X scheduled for Q4 2002, and in early Q1 2003 for the Windows� XP/2000 platform, this unique application now becomes available to an even wider number of digital artists. With an advanced workflow-driven interface, and refined modeling toolset, ImageModeler drastically improves workflow processes and productivity levels, whilst enabling the accurate re-creation of even the most complex geometry. 3D and non-3D artists alike are able to commence production immediately.

During the show, the REALVIZ team will present a preview of the new feature set in REALVIZ ImageModeler 3.5, which offers an upgraded calibration engine and modeling tools, as well as refined texturing control. A beta version of this product for the Macintosh platform will be available on October 15, 2002, with final shipment slated for mid-December 2002. In a bid to bring this unique application to a wider audience, REALVIZ are currently offering a special promotional price of US$1000.00 (euro 1,108.00) exclusively to all Mac users (valid September 10, 2002 until December 15, 2002) who purchase REALVIZ Stitcher and REALVIZ SceneWeaver.
