Apple on the attack in UK Architecture Market

Looking to boost its marketshare and presence in the United Kingdom architectural market, Apple Computer will be the primary featured sponsor at an event entitled, The Complete ArchITect Event: Technology for Architects. The event takes place June 18th, at the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Architecture Gallery, 66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD.

Architosh Analysis: This is great example of the type of show Apple should be putting together for industry professionals to come see and review Macintosh technology in practice. What's important at these events if you are considering a "switch" is to see and talk to real professionals on the Mac OS X platform and to get exposure to tools from vendors you may not be familiar with. This is the first Apple-sponsored event like this in quite some time.

In a sense this event is also VectorWorks-centric as much as it is Mac-centric. Not only is the company delivering the keynote speech, but they are also introducing a new British-based VectorWorks Web site. FileMaker will also be on hand showing Drawing Manager, a unique FileMaker solution that powerfully integrates with VectorWorks. This is a superb event, I wish I was there! - AFR
