download
For those who have not yet signed up for the new ToshLetter
and maybe wondering what it's all about, we have a free and
easy download to two sample issues for you below.

issue focuses on Mac modeling with a feature article
on T-Splines, a new advanced modeling technology aimed
at going beyond NURBS in Alias Maya. A detailed modeling
software guide is also in this issue, as well as news

| This
issue focuses on Adobe and PDF technology in the CAD/AEC
world. There are two feature articles inside. One article
is an exclusive interview with Patrick Aragon, Acrobat
Product Manager at Adobe. The other article is by guest
contributor, Pete Evans, AIA, and is a detailed account
of the use of an extensive PDF-based pipline in an
A/E firm. News and analysis round out the issue. |

and would like to be on our regular list to receive them
each month, then you can register through the sign-up process.
ToshLetter Registration
Getting the ToshLetter -- which is a new monthly newsletter
delivered directly to your e-mail box -- is a simple and
free process. We simply ask that you complete a very
brief registration survey form that provides us with your name,
email address, what CAD or 3D discipline you are working
or involved in, and a few brief questions which will help
us "program" the ToshLetter content more closely to your
interests.

1. Does the ToshLetter have
a subscription fee? No. the
ToshLetter is a free monthly publication.
2. When will I get my first issue? When you sign-up (register)
you simply get on our email lists for the ToshLetter. You
will receive the next upcoming issue and that should be within
30 days, generally.
3. What about getting previous issues which got
me interested in the ToshLetter in the first place. How
do I get them? We will provide download links to previous issues of the
ToshLetter semi-annually (6th and 12 issues). But if you
write to us we will send you a link to a specific issue
that interest you.
4. What if I want the ToshLetter
to focus on a particular subject that interest me or
if I want to be interviewed
in the ToshLetter? Simply write in to us
about what you are interested in. We want to hear from readers.
If you are interested
in being interviewed (being in our interview pool) or would
like to be a guest contributor like Mr. Pete Evans, AIA,
then please just let us know.
5. What happened to the announced premium subscription
version of Architosh.com? We halted the subscription-model plans
in lieu of launching the ToshLetter -- a free publication.
6. How do I subscribe to the
ToshLetter? You sign-up through
a registration process survey which you can find
here.
7. Why do I need to take a
survey, even a brief one, to get the ToshLetter? We
need to get some demographic information on our readers
to help us understand our audience better
(eg: what professional disciplines, what size organizations
they come from, what content they are interested in, etc.)
so that we can be successful in programming the ToshLetter
to what people want to read about.
8. Do you have a privacy policy? Yes.
