| One of our most common questions by readers concerns the availability of commercial applications for accounting in architecture, engineering and construction. While the Mac is very strong in accounting overall, in the vertical markets of AEC, all leading vertical products are PC-only at the moment. We hope this can change in the near future. However, many Mac firms utilize top-tier Mac accounting software with time-based billing functionality. Such programs include MYOB, and Aatrix solutions. Additionally there are some vertical time-sheet/billing programs from ISV's like T&E by Architectronica and Creative Billing by DesignSoft.
