Extensis announces long-awaited Extensis Suitcase 8!
Yesterday Extensis Corporation announced its long-awaited Extensis Suitcase 8, a complete font management solution for Macintosh users. Suitcase 8 is fully compatible with Mac OS 8.5 and Mac users can depend on Suitcase 8 to fully perform under tight deadlines. New features include Suitcase 8 XT, a QuarkXTension that opens up needed fonts on-the-fly, eliminating missing font dialog boxes and saving time outputting QuarkXPress files. Also, Extensis Suitcase 8 eliminates problems by identifying duplicate fonts, avoiding the TrueType/PostScript collisions so common to Mac users with large amounts of installed fonts. The program also finds corrupt fonts. Suitcase 8 MenuFonts organizes and displays fonts in their own type face and groups them by family name.
