Engineered Software Announces PowerDWG Translator / WildTools 3D!

21 April 99.

Engineered Software introduced a direct translator to AutoCAD/DWG format and a powerful new set of 3D drawing tools. Both are available to users of PowerCADD 3.0 now. The PowerDWG Translator lets you simply read and write native AutoCAD/DWG files directly within PowerCADD, eliminating the need for complicated translation processes.

WildTools 3D offers a revolutionary new set of 3D tools for drawing three-dimensional depiction's. The application has over 50 new tools for drawing 3D depicted elements in the two-dimensional world of PowerCADD. (EDITORS NOTE: For readers that are not familiar to PowerCADD, the program does not have a true three-dimensional model space, unlike most CAD applications. With WildTools 3D--a program extension--3D elements are drawn in 2D only, just as in traditional paper media.)
