Top 100 German architectural firms plan with ArchiCAD 6.0
Graphisoft announced recently that the majority of the top 100 German architectural firms use ArchiCAD software. "In Berlin, the mecca of the building industry in Germany, eight (8) out of ten (10) offices deploy it." The company further stated the high prevalence of their award-winning CAD program in planning and architectural offices throughout Germany. In Berlin, Brandedburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, ArchiCAD software is used as a planning and visualization tool in 27 out of 45 offices. International firms use ArchiCAD for Teamwork to handle complex projects between branch offices throughout Germany and Europe. Graphisoft emphasized that in version 6.0 of ArchiCAD, the software is a "genuine multi-user" application, well suited for use over the Internet [for collaboration work efforts and design communication].
