WorldNews: Bentley Congratulates Norman Foster on his Lordship
In other Bentley news, the company congratulated British architect Sir Norman Foster on his latest Lordship given recently at the Queen's Birthday Honours celebration. Foster, who was previously a knight also won this year's Pritzker Prize, the architectural equivalent of the Nobel Prize. Foster and Partners are one of Bentley's most prestigious users and a SELECT subscriber firm. This story is also interesting because it gives a good look into the many honours given out nationally by the British Royal family, and explains -- in particular -- the tradition of knighthood and the explanation of British titles. Lord Norman Foster now has one of the most impressive CV's in world architecture.
