Diehl Graphsoft: First Vertical App for Architecture Coming This Fall!
Mentioned as part of a press release on the state of affairs at Diehl Graphsoft, the makers of MiniCAD VectorWorks are aiming to release new vertical market add-on products to their core VectorWorks CAD application this Fall. The company is planning to introduce their first vertical product to the architectural market in late September or early October. A beta of that product was introduced this summer. A second vertical product is being planned for introduction around the start of the new year. That product will be targeted at the landscape design market. Diehl Graphsoft said that in all they have six vertically oriented products planned to be introduced over the next 18 months. These products will have a strategic relationship to their core, cross-platform CAD application, VectorWorks. For more information about VectorWorks, click here.
