MacCAD News: BOA updated to version 1.2.2, more news

BOA Research has quietly posted an update to their new CAD software, BOA, to version 1.2.2., along with updated electronic reference manual and book one of the tutorial lessons. As a current BOA user you can use your current User ID and Authentication codes to use this version.

Recently BOA has been compared to Revit™, the new CAD program that many journalist are paying quite a bit of attention to. Also, Architosh reader and Ph.D. researcher (Harvard GSD?), June-Hao Hou, whose research is directed at the future of CAD wrote to BOA Research and said the following:

"I've checked Revit . . . your system is more advanced than it in many aspects."

Also getting closer is a Windows version of BOA. The current forecast is for beta release in mid February, 2001. (But why would you want a Windows version folks? This product was developed on the Mac for the Mac!).
