VectorWorks ARCHITECT unveiled at Macworld Expo 2000
As anticipated, VectorWorks ARCHITECT, Diehl Graphsoft's first "vertical market" add-on application was showcased at Macworld Expo this week. VW ARCHITECT, is the CAD industry's first definitive integration of CAD and project management. According to a press release: "ARCHITECT is the company's first architecturally specific add-on module and will be officially unveiled during the Macworld Expo 2000, at the company�s booth, #2139. VectorWorks ARCHITECT, formerly codenamed "Armadillo", is built on top of VectorWorks, the company�s general-purpose CAD software, and is the first in a series of industry specific add-on modules to VectorWorks." ARCHITECT has a number of unique project management features, including the automation of routine tasks and control of project information.
