QuickTime VR Tours: Explore Hidden New York

Apple has a link to a PBS documentary film entitled, Hidden New York and its companion Web site. The site features an interactive map using QuickTime and QuickTimeVR for taking a virtual tour of these hidden New York treasures.

Explore Sailor's Snug Harbor, 32 Mott Street General Store, Orchard Alley, 1964 World's Fair and many others in this educational visual tour. In addition to the many gardens and architectural locations you will visit you can hear narration through the use of QuickTime and its partner Flash in this very engaging interface. For New York lovers and amateur historians of the Big Apple this PBS Web site will surely please you and add to your knowledge of one of the greatest cities in the world.
