MacCAD News: DenebaCAD 2.0.2 Updater Available

Deneba's DenebaCAD 2 software now has a free updater available for download. In addition to bug fixes there are several new features, including enhanced file compatibility support for Autocad 2000.

Other Key Enhancements include the following items:

QuickTime Compatibility

• DenebaCAD 2.0.2 is fully compatible with the latest release of QuickTime.{currently at 4.0.x}

Import and Export filter improvements

• Improved file format filters
• New Autocad 2000 DXF/DWG import formats
• Millimeters support in DWG import
• Black background (window) support option in DXF/DWG import

New commands and Keyboard Shortcuts

• Define Clipping Plane : Command-Option-T (Mac OS) or Control-Alt-T (Windows)
• Zoom to Page: Command-Option-N (Mac OS) or Control-Alt-N (Windows)

Rendering Images Improvements

• If you render an image that is too large to be copied to the Draft Window, based on your RAM configuration, the application lets you export it in one of the following formats: BMP, JPEG, Photoshop, PICT or QuickTime Image format.

Sweep Section Vector

• The position of the Sweep Section, with reference to the path, can now be realigned.
• Reshaping a Sweep object lets you move the Sweep Section Vector Handle to modify the position of the section with reference to the Path direction.

2-byte Characters

• 2-byte characters (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc.) may now be entered in any input textbox.
